Terms of Use

These terms describe the permitted use of the Project Balboa website and its original materials.

Project Balboa is a conceptual initiative for discussion. Nothing on this site constitutes public policy, legal advice, financial advice, an offer of securities, or an official position of the Republic of Panama or any public institution.

1. Ownership and copyright

Unless otherwise indicated, the original text, diagrams, visual identity, interface design, software, illustrations and other original Project Balboa materials are protected under applicable intellectual-property laws. © 2026 Project Balboa. All rights reserved.

2. No general license granted

Except for rights required by the hosting platform and uses permitted by applicable law, publication of these materials does not grant a license to reproduce, adapt, redistribute, commercialize, rebrand or incorporate them into another product, proposal or service without prior written authorization.

3. Linking and limited quotation

You may link to the public Project Balboa website and make limited quotations for commentary, reporting, research or discussion when permitted by applicable law and when Project Balboa is clearly attributed as the source. This does not permit republication of substantial portions of the site or presentation of the work as your own.

4. Ideas and concepts

Copyright protects original expression rather than abstract ideas, systems or methods. These terms therefore focus on protecting Project Balboa's original materials, presentation, branding and implementation work; they do not claim exclusive ownership of concepts that applicable law does not protect through copyright.

5. Names and marks

Project Balboa, its visual identity and associated marks may not be used in a manner that implies sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation or official status without authorization. Any third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated as the project evolves. The version displayed on this page is the version applicable to the public website at the time of access.
